The block is 8″ x 8″ and can be easily converted to other sizes.<\/p>\n

This block differs in that it has a pinwheel in two corners of the railfence, rather than just one.<\/p>\n

I like this version better, but I would eliminate the partial pinwheels along the edges by making some of the blocks without the second half-square triangle (HST). You would need to pay careful attention to the color placement if you chose to do this. If you were making a scrappy version that would not be an issue.<\/p>\n

I have another idea that would go with leaving the half pinwheels in, but I\u2019ll blog about that more later.<\/p>\n
